We did a great job getting up and out by 6:30 am to make it to the airport in time for our flight to Rosita.
The rainforest has been subjected to increasing amounts of clear cutting by outsiders.
The airport was minimal, to say the least.

Which they make sure is locked before they leave.
The heat outside was brutal, with the sun scorching down on us.
To get some relief while we waited for the bus, we hiked up to where we could find some shade amongst the trees.
Eventually, the bus came and we made our way to Rosita
